Sixth common task: climate change

  The sixth and final task actually consisted of two activities. On the one hand, schools had to collect evidence of climate change in their own countries. On the other hand, schools had to write a chain story about climate change with two different plots and endings. For the first activity, each school collected some photographs showing the effects of climate change and uploaded them to a Digipad. Students had to post comments below the pictures. As for the second activity, we used the season technique to write the stories and worked in transnational teams. Both stories began in the same way, that is, with a boy who finds a strange box containing a terrifying prophecy about future disasters caused by climate change. The White Book tells how the boy and his friends avoid disasters. The Black Book, on the other hand, shows how everything ends badly because humanity is unable to stop climate change.
